What this site collects
The site has no forms, no accounts and no comment boxes. It does not set cookies and it does not load advertising or social media scripts.
Visits are counted with a cookieless analytics tool that the site serves from its own address. It records page views, the page that sent the visitor, the type of device and an approximate location. It does not build a profile of one person across other sites.
Phone calls
When you call the number on this page, the call is routed by a call-handling service to an independent contractor. The number you call from, the time of the call and its length are available to the routing service and to the contractor. Calls may be recorded. Anything you tell the contractor, such as your address and the equipment problem, is handled under that contractor's own practices.
What the site does with that information
Call and visit records are used to see whether the line is working, to check that calls are genuine and to improve the pages. The site does not sell email addresses, because it does not collect them except when a person writes in.
If you write to the site's email address, the message and your address are kept long enough to answer and are not shared.
Your choices
You can ask what is held about a call you placed, or ask for it to be removed where the law allows, by writing to contact@acburleson.com. Include the date and the number you called from.
Children
The site is meant for adult homeowners and does not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date.
